# Direct purchase and invoicing

> Buy an annual plan through Stripe Checkout, manage billing, or arrange a signed order with invoice payment terms.

Buy directly from General Validation through Stripe, or choose
[Microsoft Marketplace](https://docs.generalvalidation.com/administration/marketplace.md). Both routes offer
20 active Table Pairs for $12,000 USD per year and 50 for $20,000 USD per year.
Larger capacity and negotiated terms use an enterprise agreement. See
[Plans and trial](https://docs.generalvalidation.com/administration/plans.md) for capacity and trial behavior.

## Buy directly in the app

Only an Organization Owner can start Checkout or open the billing portal.

1. Sign in to the intended Organization and open **Plan & billing**.
2. Under **Buy directly from General Validation**, check the Organization name
and choose the 20- or 50-Table-Pair annual plan.
3. Click **Buy directly** and review the annual charge in Stripe Checkout.
4. Enter your legal business name, billing contact's full name and billing
address. A business tax ID is optional.
5. Read the linked [SaaS Services Agreement](https://generalvalidation.com/legal/saas/2026-09-27/)
and accept it on your Organization's behalf, then complete payment.
6. Return to **Plan & billing**. The page checks for subscription updates;
confirmed payment activates the purchased allowance in the same Organization.

Standard Checkout plans are one-year subscriptions billed annually in advance.
The agreement provides annual renewal and requires written nonrenewal notice at
least 30 days before the term ends. Send notices to
[support@generalvalidation.com](mailto:support@generalvalidation.com).

Stripe saves billing details to your Stripe customer record. Card and bank
details are entered only on Stripe-hosted pages. Checkout accepts cards and ACH
Direct Debit from a US bank account. ACH is delayed: completing Checkout does
not activate paid access while the invoice remains unpaid. Verification and
bank processing can take several business days. The remainder of your original
trial stays available until its original expiry; a pending or failed payment
does not restart or extend it.

## Manage a direct subscription

**Manage subscription** opens the Stripe billing portal to update payment
methods and view invoices. Plan changes and cancellation controls are not enabled
in the portal. Contact support for changes or nonrenewal, following your
agreement's notice terms. Contact support before moving between Stripe and
Marketplace so subscriptions do not overlap.

Self-service Checkout requires a paid invoice for continued service. An unpaid
renewal does not receive the signed-order invoice credit described below. If no
eligible subscription or original unexpired trial remains, new Table Pairs and
Runs are blocked. Your Organization, saved configuration and Results remain
available. Cancellation does not delete them.

## Enterprise annual agreements

For an invoiced standard plan or negotiated enterprise capacity, contact
[support@generalvalidation.com](mailto:support@generalvalidation.com) or choose
**Contact us about enterprise** in Billing. You sign an order outside the app
that states capacity, price, service dates, payment terms and renewal/cancellation
terms. General Validation arranges a recurring Stripe subscription for the
correct Organization and sends its Stripe invoice payment link.

With agreed invoice terms such as Net 60, Net 90 or Net 120, eligible service can
start on the agreed service date once the subscription and finalized invoice are
confirmed, before payment arrives. Access continues through the invoice due date
plus 14 days, bounded by the service term and any earlier cancellation. Renewals
follow the same rule. Active service under these terms does not mean the invoice
has been paid.

An older overdue invoice can end access sooner; paying a newer invoice does not
resolve older unpaid invoices. Contact support to resolve overdue balances or an
invoice marked uncollectible. After the applicable cutoff, only the remainder of
an original unexpired trial can preserve access. Otherwise, new Table Pairs and
Runs stop while billing and saved information remain available. Payment can
restore access during an eligible service term; it does not extend the contract.

Invoices, payment status and subscription changes are managed through Stripe.
Contact support about agreed invoice corrections or payment-term changes.
