# Customer tenant authorization failed

> Resolve customer_tenant.authorization_failed in General Validation.

`customer_tenant.authorization_failed` · auth

The customer directory rejected a required metadata request. Review the Azure permissions shown in environment setup and ask an administrator to correct them.
