# Fabric capacity inactive

> Resolve discovery.fabric_capacity_inactive in General Validation.

`discovery.fabric_capacity_inactive` · discovery

Microsoft Fabric reported that the capacity for the requested workspace is not active. Ask a Fabric capacity administrator to confirm the workspace's capacity assignment and resume or activate that capacity, then retry. This error does not indicate that the workspace Viewer grants are missing.

If the problem continues, contact [support](mailto:support@generalvalidation.com) with the error code and request or Run ID. Keep source rows, exact values, credentials, and evidence files in your Azure environment.
