# Invalid discovery source

> Resolve discovery_source.invalid in General Validation.

`discovery_source.invalid` · discovery

The discovery source fields do not match its type: Fabric sources require a workspace ID and carry no ADF factory coordinates; ADF sources carry factory coordinates and no workspace ID.

If the problem continues, contact [support](mailto:support@generalvalidation.com) with the error code and request or Run ID. Keep source rows, exact values, credentials, and evidence files in your Azure environment.
